Brandon Block is the principal of our firm. He has substantial experience in all aspects of consumer and commercial litigation cases, from initial client discussions to appeals.
Prior to forming his own firm, Mr. Block practiced as a class action defense lawyer for Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a Wall Street firm, and Buchalter Nemer, a multi-state firm based in Los Angeles. While with these firms, Mr. Block was a primary attorney in dozens of individual lawsuits and nationwide class actions challenging practices under numerous state and federal consumer protection and unfair business practices laws.
Mr. Block ultimately grew weary of
protecting large financial institutions and corporations to the detriment of
consumers and small businesses, and he decided to start his own firm. Mr. Block's experience
on the defense side has proven invaluable to his practice and his clients:
He knows how companies perceive, from both a legal and
practical standpoint, the cases he now pursues on behalf of plaintiffs.
Mr. Block earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida, where he served as Executive Articles Editor for The Florida Journal of International Law. He is an active member of many community and legal organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
