Our Firm
Law Offices of Brandon A. Block is a consumer protection law and civil litigation firm based in Beverly Hills, California. The firm was established in 2007 and concentrates on helping people with debt collection abuses, unlawful car repossessions, debt collection defense and general civil litigation matters. Since our formation, we have helped relieve California consumers of nearly $100 million in debt that could not legally be collected by companies. We have also been able to collect millions of dollars in damages for our clients, in consumer law and general civil litigation matters. We have litigated cases of all sizes, in nearly every major courthouse in California.
Our Lead Attorney
We are led by Brandon A. Block, a lawyer with over a decade of experience litigating complex consumer protection and business litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout California. Over the course of his career, Mr. Block has litigated dozens of class actions on the defense side, and he has served as an attorney for plaintiffs (individually and as class counsel) in dozens more cases.
Mr. Block started his legal career with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a Wall Street law firm and recognized leader in defending consumer protection and class action litigation. Mr. Block left Stroock in 2004 and joined Buchalter Nemer, a multi-state defense firm based in Los Angeles, where he continued to focus on defending consumer protection and class action lawsuits, while expanding his experience to include defending companies in general civil litigation matters. We believe that Mr. Block’s knowledge of the defense side, from legal and practice perspectives, is invaluable to our clients.
Mr. Block received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1999, where he served as the Executive Articles Editor of The Florida Journal of International Law. Mr. Block received his B.A., with honors, from the University of Colorado in 1994.
Mr. Block is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, a non-profit corporation comprised of private and public sector attorneys, legal services attorneys, law professors and students, whose primary practice or interests involve the protection and representation of consumers. Mr. Block has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers.
