Our Firm
Law Offices of Brandon A. Block was founded by Brandon Block in 2007 and is based in Beverly Hills, California. The goal of our firm always has been to provide high-quality representation at reasonable rates (and often on a contingency basis) to a broad array of individuals and small businesses in litigation matters. We are not a mill, and treat our clients with the same level of fairness and honesty we too wish to receive in the marketplace. Bills are not inflated to cover our costs. On the contrary, we strategically manage our overhead, and are, for the most part, a “paperless” practice run by advanced technologies, hardware and software. Where other middle to large size firms seem to waste money, we strive to save. This approach to managing our law practice allows us to represent persons and companies that, unlike large corporations, do not budget for litigation and could be ruined by a relatively minor large law firm bill.
We also firmly adhere to the principle of quality over quantity. We are highly selective in our cases, and spend a significant amount of time becoming familiar with our clients, the facts and the evidence at issue prior to taking any affirmative steps in court. We require a level of comfort in our cases, and believe that demand is one of the prime reasons for our successes. Furthermore, a quality-over-quantity standard ensures that we pursue lawsuits that strike to the heart of an issue, rather than simply filing a large number of cases which may only scratch the surface of the problem, and perhaps more detrimental, ultimately frustrate judges and juries.
Our Lead Attorney
Our firm was founded and is led by Brandon A. Block. He has over a decade of experience litigating complex consumer protection and business litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout California.
Prior to opening his own practice in 2007, Mr. Block practiced with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a Wall Street law firm and recognized leader in defending consumer protection and class action litigation, and Buchalter Nemer, a multi-state defense firm based in Los Angeles.
Mr. Block received his J.D., with honors, from the University of Florida in 1999. He received his B.A., with honors, from the University of Colorado in 1994. Mr. Block is an active member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and has been named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers.
